Happiness . . . something we all want . . . need . . . and pursue to varying degrees through various means throughout our lives. But how many of us realize that deep, solid, true and lasting happiness begins with a mindset that is not based on "pursuing" or "getting" the happiness we want, but rather on the acceptance of a truth that can simply be accepted and received. I believe that with a little quiet time and meditation, the realization of that truth becomes clear. As we focus on our "being", our living existence, our consciousness and awareness of all that is true about us, that we can see, hear, think, feel, love, speak, give, receive, etc. . . that we have been "loved" into existence, created by a loving power who cares so deeply for us that every detail of our created existence was lovingly considered to give us these amazing minds and bodies that serve as our "homes" during our earthly sojourns. As we recognize, accept, and feel the love with which we were designed and created, we must acknowledge that we are worthy of love, designed and modeled after our loving creator. As a result, we can love ourselves by caring for our minds and bodies, applying the universal health principles that nurture spirit, mind, and body through optimal thinking, nutrition and physical care (exercise, alignment, and rest). As we feel loved and realize that we must love and care for ourselves in order to share that love with others, the side effect or result of the mindset of love is "HAPPINESS". When we become the "best version" of ourselves through the loving mindset, (feeling loved, loving ourselves and loving others) we are happy, strong, motivated and empowered to be the biggest contribution to humanity. It all starts with the mindset of "Love".
