TMJ Hope Celebrates Jaw Joints - TMJ Awareness Month with Thirty Days of Hope Campaign
For the month of November, TMJ Hope will be celebrating Jaw Joints - TMJ Awareness Month with "30 Days of Hope," including product giveaways as well as patient stories and expert interviews.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 28, 2010
TMJ Hope, an information and support website for TMJ disorder patients, is celebrating Jaw Joints - TMJ Awareness Month during November with their "30 Days of Hope" campaign, which includes daily TMJ friendly product giveaways and interviews with patients and experts in the field.
In the United States alone, approximately 35 million people suffer with TMJ disorder, which is a condition involving the muscles and joints that connect the jaw to the skull. Symptoms range from facial pain, to headaches, reduced ability to open (or close) the mouth, and muscle pain in surrounding areas including the neck and shoulders.
TMJ Hope's awareness campaign begins November 1st with their first giveaway of TMJ disorder friendly products, which will include items like heating pads, pillows, ice packs, protein powder, and copies of physical therapist Cynthia Peterson's book, "A TMJ Healing Plan." Other sponsor companies including Mintiva, Blendtec, Chike, and Sundesa have donated products to allow TMJ Hope to give away at least one product a day for the 30 Days of Hope campaign.
A patient herself, the Founder of TMJ Hope, Stacy Stone, said, "By partnering with companies who manufacture products used by the TMJD community, we hope to bring about more awareness of this potentially debilitating condition. For the first time, we have opened a dialogue between TMJ disorder patients and the companies that provide for them. It's estimated that 35 million have TMJ disorder, and we want these patients to know that they aren't alone anymore. We are 35 million strong, and it will become harder and harder to ignore our voices."
